A motorcyclist who filmed himself clocking up speeds of over 120mph was caught by police after posting the footage on the internet.
Michael McIver was trying out a new portable video camera which was attached to his Suzuki motorcycle showing shots of the speedometer.
The videos were uploaded onto Youtube which showed him travelling along the A5, the A494 and the A5104 in North Wales.
Magistrates at Prestatyn hearing how McIver had been charged with dangerous driving after police discovered the video.
McIver was sentenced to a 12 month community order and was disqualified from driving for 15 months.

A motorist twice disqualified after drink driving was caught speeding near Knutsford Services at more than 100mph while still serving a ban.
Irfan Hanif, decided to drive, despite drinking alcohol as he thought he was the safest driver in his group of passengers.
Harif was spotted by officers on the M6 at speeds of 100mph.
They gave chase clocking speeds of 130mph without gaining ground on the vehicle.
Police cars were used to box the vehicle in as it approached the Thelwall Viaduct and it appeared Hanif was responding to the police lights. However, he accelerated and undertook the front police car before turning off at the next junction.
Police later found the vehicle but Hanif was no where to be seen. He was later tracked down by police dogs.
Warrington Crown Court heard on Monday how Hanif six previous convictions for driving while disqualified.
He was given an eight-month jail sentence for dangerous driving and a two month consecutive sentence for driving with excess alcohol and for driving while disqualified.

A police officer who smashed into a vehicle at more than 100mph has been convicted of dangerous driving.
PC Stewart Denham, wrote off the marked police vehicle when he shunted another vehicle driven by Derek McLoed.
Derek was heading the his ill grandmothers side in April 2010 but because of the crash did not see her before she died.
The case finally ended after 27 court dates in front of 10 different sheriffs.
Denham was found guilty of dangerous driving and subsequently was banned from driving for a year.
He now faces disciplinary action from Strathcylde Police force over the accident on the M8 motorway.

A police officer was driving ‘dangerously’ and at more than double the speed limit when he his a cyclist, a court has heard.
PC David Lynch, was driving a marked police vehicle at speeds of up to 68mph in a 30mph zone in Hackney, when his van hit Joseph Belmonte.
Lynch, denies a charge of dangerous driving but admits to careless driving.
The officer had been on his way to an incident with sirens on and lights flashing at the time of the incident.
Eyewitnesses reported that Lynch approached a humpback bridge too quickly causing the vehicle to ‘take off’, leaving the ground before hitting the cyclist.

Arsenal footballer Andre Santos has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
The 29-year-old defender, from Sao Paulo in Brazil, was apprehended by officers who noticed a vehicle being driven erratically by a driver who failed to stop.
Santos was picked up by officers close to Arsenal’s training ground in Hertfordshire.
It was reported that the vehicle was being driven at speeds of up to 130mph in a high-speed chase.
Santos has been bailed to return to a North London police station in September.

Young drivers in North Wales are being targeted by a new North Wales Police campaign.
Operation sodium aims to tackle drink and drug driving amongst young drivers between the ages of 17 and 25 years old.
The campaign has been launched in response to the growing number of young people injured on the roads of North Wales and the surround rural roads.
Some of the emerging factors in accidents involving young drivers include drink and drug driving, excessive speeding, aggressive driving and failing to wearing a seatbelt.
The campaign will see officers from the Road Policing Units stepping up checks and stopping more vehicles frequently.
North Wales police currently have a robust strategy around enforced the ‘Fatal 5’ offences which are drink and drug driving, dangerous driving, speeding, failing to wear a seatbelt and using a mobile phone while driving.

A van driver accused of knocking over a Paralympic cyclist was twice over the drink drive limit and had poor eyesight.
Gold medal winner Simon Richardson, was riding along the A38 when the accident happened.
Edward Adams, denied dangerous driving at Newport Crown Court. He admitted drink-driving and failing to stop after an accident.
The court heard that Adams, should not have been driving at the time of the accident because he was over the legal drink drive limit and has poor eyesight.
A Jury was told that even with driving glasses on, he could not read a number plate from 4 metres away and could only partially read one from 2 metres.
Adams attempted to hide his vehicle in his farm but it was later located by a police helicopter.

A motorist pleaded guilty to careless driving after getting in ‘bad mood’ when a bus cut him up.
Worcester Crown Court heard how, Julian Barnes cut across lanes in front of an off-duty police officer.
He then drove in front of another car and stopped at a 45 degree angle, opened his driver’s door but did not get out.
The officer then reported Barnes for his driving.
Barnes initially pleaded not guilty to the original charge of dangerous driving which was accepted by the prosecution when no evidence was offered.
Barnes had five penalty points imposed on his licence and received £250 fine with £750 court costs.
