A Chinese takeaway boss who admitted to drink driving twice within 24 hours has had his driving disqualification reduced.

Manwa Wong, appeared at Plymouth Crown Court to appeal against the original eight year ban driving ban imposed by Plymouth Magistrates’.

Wong, had previously admitted to drink driving after testing 65 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath then 24 hours later, 54 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The court heard he had two previous convictions for drink driving in 2004 and 2008.

Judges reduced Wong’s disqualification from eight to six years.
