Speeding is a criminal offence and can result in a criminal prosecution against you. You may also notice an increase in your car insurance premiums once you reach 6 points.

Even if you have been caught speeding previously and now face a driving ban under the ‘totting up’ system (by accumulating 12 points) Marcus is often able to convince the court that ‘exceptional circumstances’ exist and therefore you will not receive a driving ban.  Where the court is considering a discretionary ban because of your high speed (relative to the speed limit) then Marcus will put forward legal argument to the court so you avoid a ban.
